The regular 4th Street ramp from downtown
Minneapolis to Cedar Avenue IS CLOSED. 
... but there still is a Cedar Avenue exit off 4th Street ...
4th Street heading east combines with 3rd Street (2-way
traffic) right after the dome. 
After the 4th overpass beyond the dome and before you go
under the Cedar Ave bridge, there is a LEFT turn for exit to
Cedar.  Road goes uphill (2-way traffic) on the north side of
the Cedar bridge (opposing traffic is 3rd street ramp to 35W & downtown). 
Once at the top, take a right onto Cedar, you know where you are!
You can also avoid this adventure by taking Washington
Avenue to Cedar and the west bank.

*put large receipt on your dash, 
*bring smaller validation copy to the yarnstore and

Enter our lot on south side of Riverside Avenue between Cedar and 
19th Avenues (driveway is between Hard Times Cafe and Baldy's BBQ restaurants).
It is a U shaped lot.  
Take a right and a right to arrive behind the store. 
 
Spaces posted BANK PARKING revert to PAY PARKING evenings [after 5pm]
      and weekends (Saturday 2-6pm and all day Sunday).

  #22 along 8th Street (& nicollet mall) drops you off at Cedar & 5th Street
   #7 along 4th Street  (& nicollet mall) drops you off at 19th & Riverside
   #16 along 4th Street (& nicollet mall) get off at Cedar
   #3 along 4th Street (& nicollet mall) get off at Cedar
DIRECTIONS - by light rail 
 1.  Get off at Cedar-Riverside station
2.  Walk east along grey building to 16th Avenue
3.  Walk 1 block north on 16th Avenue, turn right on 6th Street
4.  Go 1 long block (like NYC east-west) to Cedar Avenue, turn left
5.  On Cedar, pass 5th Street and proceed to 405 Cedar - That's us!

DIRECTIONS - how to get here by car

1.  from the south   Take 35W north to exit 17C (UofM & 3rd St), stay on the "west bank" ramp, take a right onto *Washington Avenue.  Curve right (south) at Theater in the Round (becomes Cedar Avenue) proceed 3 lights to Riverside.  [see Associated Bank kiddy corner to your left.  we are next to the bank on Cedar], turn left onto Riverside, and turn right into the
lot behind the store and bank.                        
look for the  sign on the door in back!

2.  from the north on 35W:
take 35W south toward downtown, take exit 17C, turn left over the bridge, curve right (south) at Theater in the Round (becomes Cedar Avenue) proceed 3 lights to Riverside.  turn left onto Riverside and right into the lot behind the store.

3.  from the west on 94 go east, to left exit for 35W north 1 mile after
the Lowry Hill/Walker tunnel and follow direction #1. 

4.  from the east (from St Paul) on 94 go west to Cedar Avenue exit, turn right onto Cedar, proceed 4 lights to Riverside, turn right, turn right again into lot behind store (or find a vigorously regulated parking meter on Cedar before turning onto Riverside).
